Bee Pollen:

A study done at the University of Vienna by Dr. Peter Hernuss and colleagues conducted a study of 25 women suffering from inoperable uterine cancer. Because surgery was impossible, the women were treated with chemotherapy. The lucky woman who were given bee pollen with their food quickly exhibited a higher concentration of cancer-fighting immune-system cells, increased antibody production, and a markedly improved level of infection-fighting and oxygen-carrying red blood cells. (Hemoglobin). These woman suffered less from the awful side effects of chemotherapy as well. Bee Pollen lessened the terrible nausea that commonly accompanies the treatment and helped keep hair loss to a minimum.  The woman also slept better at night. The control group receiving a placebo did not experience comparable relief.  Source #2, Bee Hive Product Bible. Royden Brown. Pg. #  49

Bee Propolis:

Propolis is another medicinal marvel from the beehive. Research shows it offers antiseptic, antibiotic, antibacterial, anti-fungal, and even antiviral properties. Propolis is nature's premiere preventive. It is so powerful in action, it is often called Russian penicillin in acknowledgement of the extensive research the Russians have mounted on this wonder worker from the bees.

Propolis demonstrates strong antimicrobial properties against various bacterial and fungal infestations. Even streptococcus bacteria have been shown sensitive to propolis. The experts say that at least part of this documented bacteriostatic power can be attributed to the galangin, caffeic acid, and ferulic acid content of propolis. Source #2, Bee Hive Products Bible. Royal Jelly

It probably won't come as a surprise that Royal Jelly, like Bee Pollen and Propolis, exhibits strong cancer-fighting properties, as witnessed by the following article. The study discussed was a joint effort of three prestigious Canadian facilities: the Ontario Agricultural College in Guelph, the Department of National Health and Welfare in Ottawa, and the University of Toronto. The article, which was published in Nature in May 1959, is entitled "Activity of 10-Hydroxydecenoic Acid From Royal Jelly Against Experimental Leukemia and Ascitic Tumors."

The research was part of a long-term Canadian study on the chemistry and biological activity of Royal Jelly. In this particular experiment, the scientists mixed Royal Jelly with active tumor cells taken from cancerous mice. They report that an injection of the mixture suppressed mouse leukemia and inhibited the formation of tumors. These no-nonsense Canadians didn't fool around either. Here's how they evaluated the results:

The criterion we used in these experiments was survival. The mice  either developed leukemia or tumors or were fully protected. Control mice died from ascitic tumors in less than 14 days, while mice receiving appropriate mixtures of cells and Royal Jelly all failed to develop tumors. Protected mice were kept under observation for 90 days after death of the control mice. They were then sacrificed and autopsied to confirm the absence of tumors.

These results have been confirmed repeatedly on nearly 1,000 mice during a two-year period and show a striking effect: Either all the mice die quickly, or all survive, Two remained alive and healthy more than 12 months after inoculation, while sister mice which received the same number of tumor cells without Royal Jelly died within twelve days.

In other words, the Canadian scientist came up with a vaccine that protects mice against leukemia and the subsequent development of related tumors. That's not too exciting, is it? Source #2 Bee Hive Products Bible by Royden Brown Pg.# 116-117
